How to execute a PHP script a given interval ?

I have a PHP script I would like to be executed every hour, is it possible, and how can I do that?

Simply create a cron task using the PHP command line interpreter.

For example :

php -f /path/to/your/script.php

Of-course you need to have access to the Cron which is only the case if you have a dedicated server. (and may be with virtual servers too).
