Why is everyone so interested in Sudoku SOLVERS?? I can understand if you are totally stuck and are going to give up to look at the answer so you can slap your forehead and say "oooooooh". Thinking I'd rather put it away and come back to it later, or just try another puzzle! What fun is it to have it solved for you? Am I missing something here?

I think Sudoku Solvers is for the "fun" of programmers / mathematicians / etc... I mean, finding algorithms to solve Sudoku is also a Mind puzzle for programmers. Making a Sudoku solver program is a also a challenge.

what could be great is if Sudoku solvers can show on the screen information on how they solved the puzzle. I mean, "showing" their process. Like that it could be a good learning tool, I mean like watching Chess grames from Masters.
