I have created a sudoku solver/helper. The program can create Sudoku's and can help/learn the player how to solve the puzzle. The screens are taken on a Dutch version of Windows, sorry about that.

Hi all!

First of all I don't want to be abusive. Moderators please check this message and delete it if you feel I am abusing this forum. The game is being written, I am releasing versions avery three days or so, those versions are demos of the full game (they are however fully functional) and are free to use for a limited period of time. There is no commitment of any kind from people that decide to give it a go.

I am making my attempt at a Su Doku game... I have added a few twists to the regular offers everybody else seems to be making, and "Su Doku Live" includes real-time network games, and been trying my best to make a "single player" mode that is pleasant to play with.

If you have a Windows or a Apple Mac, and want to help me make the game, I will be glad to give you the due credit on your ideas and bug reports.

The game is just a month weeks old, so please go easy on me (the only programer involved), and have fun. You can find a bit more info and screenshots about it on http://www.deadpixelgames.com ...

We have a small community of players already (there are two dozen registered users) and you are welcome to join us on-line.

ps: we are currently testing version 0.5.1 for both platforms, new versions are released weekly with bug fixes and new features. The foruns are packed with suggestions and I try to implement every good idea people have.

I like this one: http://sudoku.maxant.co.uk where there are different puzzle sizes as well as recording times and challenging friends. The 2x2 puzzles only take around 20 seconds! 2x3 take around 2 minutes. There are also normal 3x3 puzzles. You can also print them off and play off line, and there is even a training mode, but its a bit crap...

I'dont know if keyboard is the fastest way to navigate a sudoku, but it's sure is easy...

Today is May 12, 2006. Now we open onsudoku.com after almost one years of work. In this site, you can enjoy SUDOKU competing with other
SUDOKERs from all over the world.

We server you with 2 modes of battling. First, you may choose [Free] mode. All the players share one sudoku board. What? Yes, upto 4 players (each one is given one's own color, green, blue, pink and orange) share one sudoku board, and the first to fill an each empty cell gets it to add 10 points,coloring the cell with one's own color.

In addition, we prepared Bingo bonus system for this mode. When you fill
cells of given types(such as POLE, SQUARE, BOX, BAR, etc), you got
additional Bonus, which is shown fully in [HOW TO PLAY]->[Step 6].
So, you'd better consider the Bingos while solving to gaing high ponts.

And you may also choose [Speed Challenge] mode. In this mode, players
solve the same sudoku individually. When you have done all the empty
cells, click [Answer]. If all the numbers you put are correct, you got
[Perfect] bonus points (double the usual points). Or, you get penulty points
correspond to the numbers of incorrect cells. Yet you have another chance
to click [Answer].

Register your ID and start the game. Before joining battle mode you are to solve 2 very easy games. And your level will advance from FARER to
PEASANT level. Then you can join the battle in the BEGINNER'S ARENA.

Here you can find a very good program which creats sudoku boards and you can print them or play them on the PC, also comes with helper.No installation needed and it's very small only 226Kb. I suggest you to try it... Have fun and good luck.
