I went to the gym today. I did 3 miles on the treadmill. It didn't take me 45 minutes today, it took me 43. I pushed myself a little harder today. I strength trained. Did 3 reps of all the machines. Took about an hour to do. I'm still psyched that I lost 15 pounds in a month. It's an awesome feeling. I know I have a long way to go still. I'm hoping maybe I can get out of the 60's within the next 4 weeks....159 pounds. That's 8.8 pounds. I had to take my weekly Sunday pic today instead of yesterday. I waited too late to get it done. But...it's no big deal, pretty much the same thing. My goal is 165 for Sunday's weigh in. I hope I can reach that. That's my first mini goal. I'm going to try and up my exercise this week, meaning get there 5/6 times this week, or stay longer 3/4 times per week. Either/or is fine with me. I just want to do a little extra this week, push myself a little more.

15 pounds in one month is fabulous!!! And losing all those inches, that is so encouraging, isn't it? You have come such a long way in such a short time....keep going!!!

This is my Tuesday post although it is past midnight already...a new day. I went to the gym today. I strength trained, took about an hour. I did 3 miles on the treadmill...43 minues instead of 45 minutes..did that time yesterday too. I did 30 minutes on the eliptical. I was sore yesterday and sore today from lifting. It's a good kind of sore though. I'm trying to up my exercise some this week so I hope I can get in there every day. I don't know if I'm up to it for real though. I'm working in the morning..I should be in bed. I'm going in just a minute. I had forgotten that I hadn't journaled today. I really don't even come on here all that much, except for to journal. I hope everyone is doing well.

I am trying to up my exercise too.....actually *do* some this week! lol You are doing wonderful at the gym. I wish I was more motivated in regards to exercise. I am trying though. I like to see others so dedicated to it because it gives me a kick in the butt...so thanks!!

I hope I can stay motivated for a while. You can do it!

Today so far I've had 410 calories. I haven't eaten dinner yet. I know I need to up the calories, but I'm kinda getting used to eating low cals. I know I need to up them. I'm gonna try. I went to the gym today. I did an hour on the eliptical. Then I just did the 2 thigh machines, and the back and tummy machines. 3 sets of each. I'm pretty hungry right now. Think I'm gonna eat a chicken breast and veggies tonight. It's so easy just cooking the chicken on my George Foreman. Takes no time at all. I already got my 3 days of exercise in this week. So any days that I go now will be extra. Guess I'll go for now.

You can up your calories by eating some healthy choices. I know it is hard when you have been eating very low calorie for so long...I am experiencing the same thing. Knowing what is right and good to do is one thing...actually doing it is another. I am always afraid I will let go of my control when I eat too much. History repeats itself!

I keep forgetting to journal during the day..always remember at night though..way late. So it's late Thursday night. Oh..by the way...I ended up eating higher calories Wednesday. Not saying it was the best thing to eat..but I wanted it, so I had it. A big bowl of fruity cheerios. It was yummy too. I enjoyed every bite.

So...Thursday...I went to the gym. That's 4 days in a row for me this week. Yay!! I'm sore....a good sore though. I did an hour on the elliptical. And I said I wasn't..because I've already done enough..but I strength trained again...3 reps of all the machines..13 machines total. I might try some free weights one day. It'll have to be when noone is in there. I feel like a retard doing it in front of folks. I need to do some squats and lunges and stuff. I had about 700 cals today. I was feeling very hungry today....very. I feel so much better in my clothes now, like I can breathe again. I still have a long way to go...but I can't give up. Gotta keep going strong...as if I had just started. I'm looking to be at 165 on Sunday. That's a 2.8 lb loss. I can do it!!

This is Friday's entry, although it's late Friday...2:55am..officially Sat. now. I ate more calories today...about 1100. Felt like I ate a ton of stuff..but it equalled to just 1100. I felt extra hungry again today. I need to try and start focusing on drinking lots of water. That's the area I'm slacking in the most. GRR. I'm going to try harder tomorrow...and this upcoming week. I can do it.

It's almost 5pm. So far I've had 240 cals. I went to the gym today. I just got in. I did an hour on the treadmill...4 miles. I wasn't gonna lift any weights but I ended up doing 2 hip abduction machines..3 sets of 12 each. I did the back and stomach machine...3 sets of 12 each. I did the thigh press...3 sets of 12. I did this other machine that I hadn't tried before. You just sit and twist from side to side. I used like 40 pounds I think. I think it'll be good for love handles. I did not want to go to the gym today..but I had some free time and thought I should go. While walking on the treadmill I just felt like stopping just for no reason. There was this show on the tv that I was interested in watching, but I had forgotten to bring my headset to tune in to the station so I could hear it. I had to use the closed caption and read it all. It aggravated me. I sooo was into the show too..it was something I like to watch. Somehow I pushed through it and paid attention to the tv most of the time..except for when my neck started feeling funny from looking up at the tv. I'm glad I stayed on for that long..when I really didn't feel like being there. I had already put in 4 days at the gym this week...this makes day 5. Yay!! I'm proud. I gotta weigh in the morning...it'll be Sunday. I just don't feel like I"ve really lost anything this week..even though I've been hitting the gym. But..oh well..any loss is better than none...and staying the same weight is better than gaining. So...I'm gonna try and stay positive. I'm not sure what else I'll have to eat today. I'm starving right now..so I'm going to eat.

Last Sunday I weighed 167.8. Well I got on the scale this morning and I'm 166.6. I dropped 1.2 lbs this week. I didn't make my goal for the week...but...oddly enough..I'm still thankful for the 1.2 pounds. It was my time of the month this week...so I can use that as an excuse. (lol) When my numbers are low..I can only hope for a bigger number on the next week. I hope, I hope, I hope. I will say that it is a bit discouraging to hit the gym 5 times this week and not lose more than that. But I'm still gonna stay positive. I gotta stick to it..keep going to the gym. I might even try and go today..just to jumpstart my week. I think I might do some sort of class this week...workout class that is. Step aerobics, cycling..something. I've been thinking about doing yoga. If anyone has done yoga...could you tell me how you liked/disliked it....and what your results were from doing it. I sooo wanted to be 165 today...that just sucks. Oh well. Here we go this week....lets see how I do. My goal for next weigh in is 164 lbs. That's a 2.6 lb loss. 164 here I come. And if all else fails, at least maybe I'll make my first goal weight of 165!! Ok...I'm off to lose weight.

I went to the gym this morning. I got that mess out of the way early. I did an hour on the elliptical. I was only going to do just that but then I told myself that everytime I go and do just cardio that I want to make sure and do the back and stomach machine...and the new one that you twist side to side. Well..I did those machines...but ended up doing all of the rest of them as well. The reason being..the machines I was waiting on...took a while to get on. It was crowded in there today. So instead of just standing around I hopped on whatever machines were available. I ended up doing all 13 machines..2 sets of each...3 sets of the back and stomach...plus the 1 extra twist machine. I did 100 twists. I felt pretty good after I was done..simply because I hadn't planned on doing that today. I tell you what, those elderly people were in there this morning. It just kind of motivated me...seeing them in there. If they can do it, so can I. Anyhow..that's it for right now..I'll check back later.

WOW, you are so strong. Your motivation is excellent - well done! You must be looking so toned, and think of how much of your weight loss must be fat rather than muscle, with all the exercise you're getting. You've inspired me to work harder, so thank you. Keep going and be proud of yourself for what you're accomplishing/have accomplished. Smile x

I haven't been putting down my cals or what I've been eating in a while. I've been slacking...although I pretty much write them down daily. I have it written down everywhere..any place that I can find to write. Ha. Just to keep me informed of how many cals for the day...not for journaling purposes. Last night..I got really hungry. I kept eating pretzels..they're really thin ones. I like the crunchiness. I ate quite a bit of them. I even put some turkey on top. This was late late last night...I'm talking 3am. I ate about 1000 cals yesterday. I've been eating between 500-700..and then a couple of days 1000 maybe. I don't have a real plan when I eat that amount of calories..but on the days that they have been higher...I ate it because I wanted to...and didn't beat myself up about it. I just went back to normal the next day. The food wasn't fattening or anything..so that is always a plus. Eating 1000 feels like a lot of food. Oh..I did have some now & laters. They were yummy..a little treat for me.

Anyhow..today I've had 465 cals. That's gonna be it for the night. It's time for bed.

I must reach 164 this week...I must!!!

You are so determined, you will do it!! Eating 1000 calories is a good idea, that is for sure. Keeping the caloric amounts mixed up from day to day keeps things moving, in my experience.

I really have to get exercising more...you inspire me too! lol
