655 cals is fantastic hun SmileSmile goooo youuuuuuuu!!

Only thing i would say...you would notice a quicker change in weight if you cut out the carbs as well as the cals. Alhough you are eating a low cal diet unless you are being active carbs get stored as fat.

But i dont want that to sound negative cos i thin you are doing great Very Happy

Keep it up

I was actualy thinking about this a few days ago. I really should cut out my carbs, my only problem is that I get light headed so easily. I guess I figure that without carbs I'll faint or something. I'll definatly try cutting carbs out for the next few day and see what happens. I'm not sure if I'll get rid of them completely but I'll try.

Thanks for the advice, Jennifer! Smile

My Mom decided to talk to me last night. She commented on my recent weight loss and asked how much more I wanted to lose. I told her that a healthy weight for me (according to the bmi charts) is 125 lbs and I plan on reaching that weight. She got so mad at me and told me that I weighed so much not because I'm fat, but that I'm muscular. I know I'm muscular but still, I want to lose weight. She told me all that I'm only allowed to lose 10 more pounds.

So, now my Mom is bothering me about my weight again. I'm not sure why she is, it's not like I'm skinny or unhealthy. Maybe I'll compromise with her and go for 20 lbs and see how I feel there. I don't know anymore.

I think it might be just psychological. Your mom might feel that if you lose alot of weight you'll be more atractive or that you'll become more atractive than her. Or if she's overweight she might feel that she's a loser "she did it, she lost weight, she changed her life and i'm still the same old me". I don't know.. I just think she's afraid of changes (you won't be the same person when you lose weight or something).

Just something i thought reading your post.

I think your right denali! My Mom made me gain weight when I was thinner as well. I think, in a way, she realised that I'm getting older and becoming a 'young woman'. Not that I'm pretty, but I think she sees me as young and she realises that she's getting older and her body reflects that. She also struggles with her weight, while I seem to have an easier time maintaining and losing weight.

I really hope that she doesn't feel that way. It'd make me sad to find it that she actualy did. I guess there's not much I can do though, I can't really change what I want to make someone happy.

Sorry, bit of a babble. I guess I just needed to get some feelings out.

Hope everyone's having a good day!

Crying or Very sad Today was not the best day by any means. I just didn't have the time to count calories, so I ended up just eating and not counting the calories. I'm sure I didn't go over 1200 calories but I ate foods that I would have ratherd to have stayed away from. I guess it's just another tumble off the waggon - I'll jump back on tomorrow.

So, back to restricting tomorrow. No more then 1000 calories. Try and stay away from the carbs. I'm also planning on starting exercise again.

awww. Sad I hope tomorrow is a better day for you! Make it a better day! Just try to ignore the presant time and think about the results in the long run. Think about what you will look like in a month...
Goodluck!

Yea, good luck today hun. And if you can't be bothered counting calories you can't be bothered eating them Wink Thats my motto. If it's worth eating it's worth working out the cals Smile

Have a great day hun

Laughing I like that motto! Wish I would have known it yesterday. Lol. Maybe it would have kept me away from some of that food.

I have no clue why, but I'm down a pound today! I've been stuck on 160 lbs for a few days now, so it's nice to see the scale moving. Hopefully it'll keep it up!

Have a good day everyone!

Yeah! Well done!

Keep up the good work.

Know what you mean about totally ditching carbd and feeling light headed. Try just ditching the white ones - bread, rice, pasta, potatoes, and remember there's still some carbs in carrots, tomatoes etc.

Good luck!

Today I've had about 750 calories and I exercised for about 1 1/2 hours! Surprised I feel so energized today; I think the exercising helped with that.

I set a goal to reach 155 lbs by this Friday. I have 4 lbs to go. Thinking I wonder if I could reach that goal? I'll have to weigh in tomorrow morning and see what my weight is. I'm hoping for 157 lbs. That way I have 2 more pounds to go.
