Hair question

This is my question:

I want to dye my hair. My hair has now a red glow (if I stand in a certain light) although im a brunnette. But the thing is that im going on holiday next week. If I dye my hair, wont the sun make it lighter again?

it depend on whether you use a cheap brand like boots own, or a decent one, which means spending about a tenner on it. id say spend the money, as it lasts a lot longer. i find that cheap brands fade really quickly. also, you should use a permanent one. the sun will lighten it a bit. but i dont think it should do it too much.
