I have wanted my lip pierced for a while now
anyone whos had it done, does it hurt?
and what is the legal age to get it done?

i have my bottom lip peirced, have had it about 3 months now, in some places you can have a choice weather you would like them to numb your lip, i didn't have my lip numbed it didnt hurt as much as i thought it would it only really hurt when the bar went through, there was a little bit of swelling for a day or so but after that it didnt hurt at all

In the UK the minimum age is 16.
I got my lip done when i was 15 and i've had it for about a year now.

I'm not gonna say it didnt hurt, there was pain but it was wholeheartedly bearable.
It swelled for about a week and then it went down and healed fine.

hi, ive had my lip done 4 a few years now... and it really doent hurt! it does swell up tho, well mine did 4 a few days. but i have a few peirsings (3 on my ears and a surface one on my breast bone - between my boobs!) and my lip has been by far the most easiest to look after. altho i do find that i cant take it out 4 very long cuz it starts to close over. it was also the least painful one, i think. xxx

I've had mine done about two years, and it didn't hurt a bit, and wasn't numbed. The age in Ireland is 16 but I'd say if you've got a parent with you, you should be grand!
Make sure you clean and take care of it properly petal :]
