This whole giving things up for lent is not working!
Things in my life are so shit these days.
Ever since I started college, my social life has obviously got loads busier, which means more social situations that I cant cope with.
Its such a nightmare.
Everytime people suggest doing things, I'm always worried about how I'm going to look against them all (considering the maajority is thin) and how many calories I'm going to have to consume to keep them from being suspicious.
Plus I'm having the most awful mood swings. One minute I'm fine, the next I'm fuming about something so trivial!
Arghhh!
When do things get easier?

Aww its been one of those occasional good days today! Smile
I'm in such a good mood.
Theres been loads of good cracks today that have made me realise how much I need my friends around me.
I'm going to make a resolution to not get so worked up all the time and appreciate the things I've got (however small that may be)

Any ideas to lose it quickly?

Sorry I don't have any ideas on the quick 5lbs... maybe Kekwick? I've heard that works wonders...
SOund like you're doing really great, and it's fab that you're managing to keep the social side of things going. Hope you have an amazing half term.
Skinny love to you huni

Thankyou DancerInTheMaking Smile
Skinny love to you too.
Ohh tomorrow is the day of the party and I've got a different dress to wear than I originally planned. I'm still abit conscious about wearing it though is it is silk and will cling in all the wrong places. I'm so worried about my tummy sticking out in it Sad
Theres also the issue with drinks. What shall I drink? I need things that are low in calories! One thing I am looking foward to is all the calories I'm going to burn dancing; should be fun.
Even though I am worried about certain things, I still am looking foward to it and I cant wait to see the look on my friends face when she see's that we've thrown her a suprise party! Smile

Also on a slightly different level, I just wanted to say how grateful I am of the support that is given here. It has really helped me over the past couple of months and I cant thank everybody enough.

Omg! Last night I was at a house party and the person had a pool.
I knew this before I went and I'd made a promise to myself that I wouldnt get in. Well, after a few drinks getting in the pool seemed like a good idea! I went in with a bikini top on and a pair of tiny shorts!!!
I may aswell have been in my underwear!
I cant believe what I've done. Now loads of people have seen my FULL body and I'm going to be so embarassed when I go back to college on Monday! Arrghhhh I'm so scared.
I still cant believe I thought it was a good idea. Thats me not drinking for a while.
Has anyone else got themselves into situations like this or am I the only one daft enough?

I'ms ure you're not the only one!!! I don't drink any more but I can remember saying some really inappropriate things to a certain very very cute teacher whilst we were both a bit drunk on a school trip. My days, it still embarrasses me to think about it!
I'm sure everyone has done things like that, try not to dwell on it too much!
Sounds like you're having a blast though!

Ahahaha I'm trying not to, its just that I'm back at college tomorrow with them all. I'm just kinda worried about people making comments.
Ohh god, I was in the car today with my mum and the news was on the radio and part of it was talking about pro-ana sites. My mum knows that I have issues with food (she thinks I'm over it now though!) and I could feel her eyes watching me. I know this sounds wierd but I felt as if I was being personally attacked. The man was talking about how they should all be shut down and how they are damaging young women. Absolute shit if you ask me. These sites are here to support people.
Arghh anyway, rant over. Now I've got to decide what to wear tomorrow, not that it really matters - no doubt I'll look like a bag of shit anyway!

I'm sure you'll look stunning huni, whatever you wear...
I know what you mean about the pro-ana stuff on the news though... part of me just wants to scream at them that it's not promoting anorexia or encouraging people who aren't suffering to somehow pick it up, but it is a support for those who need it! It actually makes me so angry. Rawr.
Hope college went ok for you...

I agree with Dancer, that's exactly the point of forums like this - support. was actually shocked when i saw a similar article in a paper here this morning - thought Ireland was a bit behind in terms of these things lol.

omg.. yeah I hate the anti pro-ana discussions. Theres alot of that on youtube too. granted being anorexic isnt always a good thing.... heh... but you'd never go to a world of warcraft forum and complain because it was proNerd would you?! lol

people should just keep their noses in their own chit. People will always disagree on something. Sorry it made u squirm in the car with ur mum... awkward.

Hope school goes well!!!

Thanks with the all the support. I'm glad others agree with me on the subject.
College has been ok for the past couple of days. Yesterday after the antics of the weekend a few comments were made, but more in a funny way. Nothing was really said about my body which I am so pleased about.
I just thought I'd share a little photo from that night. Its not thinspo or anything, I just wanted it to be kept in here 'cause I like how my arms look in the photo.

I'm the one with white and blue dress on. I apologise for how much of a state I look.

Thanks Hopelessly! Embarassed
Oh proper twins with our names there! loll.
Right! I've decided that I'm going to change. I plan to loose 7lbs in 2 weeks and then depending on how that goes, loose another 7lbs in another 2 weeks.
So by the end of March, I will have my brace off (Whoop whoop Dancing ) and I will have hopefully lost a stone, and I think I might change my hair abit so I'll be a completely new person.
Lets hope things work out!

Oh you by far are not the only one with a drunk pool mistake. I thought it was an awesome idea to jump in the pool with all my clothes on when I didnt bring a change. I was also smoking and drinking beer in that pool with several others it was like green the next day. I also had a drunk friend accidentally push me into a.. one of those metal cyllander things that you have fires in.. and it was drunk teens so you know there was kerosene thrown on that fire a billion times. I ended up staying in the pool for hours after that, again in my clothes, or underwear to cool the burns... I still have a 2x2 scare on my ass from that ordeal... and I have also done MUCH dumber things when drunk, like waking up naked and not knowing why or how.... infact your lucky your not as dumb as me lol.
