Hey everybody
I have COED and I want to stop this. I want to lose my weight steadily and healthily ONCE AND FOR ALL. I dont want to live like this ANYMORE, this is not a life. Life is about enjoying things and not being obsessed with food and thinking about it from the moment you wake up until you go to bed.
I want to become healthy and not to have this problem anymore. I have not binged like usually for over 1 week now, I'm so proud of myself. I'm 5'7'' and weigh 168lbs. I want to be 163lbs by four weeks, thats my short term goal. I don't want to expect too much too soon, otherwise I'll stress and eventually binge, I know cause that's happened to me so many times before.

I'm going to post here and keep a diary of my progress.
Any support from you guys, advice or experiences would be deeply appreciated Exclamation Smile
I really want this to work and I hope I will stay motivated enough. I'm hoping this diary will keep me motivated.
I'm not going on a fad diet or on a fast, I know thats not the solution, I'm gonna do this the right way this time. Just a bit lower calorie intake than I need, so that I'll lose around 1lbs/week. At that rate it'll take me at least six months to achieve my goal weight, but that doesn't bother me. I just dont want to continue this "jo-joing" anymore, I need some balance and learn how to overcome my binge eating and change my lifestyle.

Anyone feeling the same way? Anyone who's had enough and wants to live normally again? Anyone who is interested in joining me with this leave comments and we can support each other alogn the way!

so far so good today...
breakfast: oat porrige, vitamins, green tea
mid-morning snack: half apple

plan for the rest of the day:
lunch: sandwich with vegies an cheese
mid-afternoon snack: rest of apple and another fruit/vegie
dinner: dunno what the folks are doin 2nite yet...

I'll post soon again.
Shara Love

Shara good luck,is there any way you could perhaps join an organised slimming club in your area if you want to lose weight the healthy way & do some kind of excersise like the gym or perhaps walking or a home excersise dvd? just a few suggestions as you said you wanted to live a normal life... Thinking ps, & perhaps start a journal in the "members journal" section,i'm sure you'd get some support there.

Ditto. Diet and excercise will give you fast results, if you put them together.

I've found that if I binge for one meal once a week, my appetite lessens for the other six days. Everyone's different though, so find out what works for you. Smile
